It was the perfect summer day when Tannel and Dustin tied the knot, surrounded by their family and friends in Rapid City, Manitoba.
The couple met in college when Tannel spotted Dustin in the hall and told her friends, “I call dibs.” After that, Tannel and Dustin dated for 5 years until it was time for Dustin to propose. The groom made sure that Tannel’s best friends and brother were in town for a golf tournament before he popped the question. Tannel was so excited when Dustin proposed that she dropped the ring! And the rest they say is history.
The bride’s favourite wedding moment happened during her walk down the aisle. “When my dad gave me away to my future husband, just at that moment he gave my hand to Dustin and Dustin leaned in for a kiss,” says Tannel. “I had to quickly turn away from him, but the photographer got a great shot.”
As to what the couple’s favourite wedding details were, that’s an easy one. “We really put a lot of effort into every little detail of our wedding,” says Tannel. “When I walked into the reception I felt so lucky to have such beautiful decor; the feeling in the room was so romantic.”
